Spring Community Foraging Walk

Reconnect with the plants growing all around us.

Join us for a slow, community-centered walk to learn about edible and medicinal plants commonly found in Minnesota. We’ll explore seasonal herbs and “weeds,” talk about respectful and sustainable foraging practices, and learn simple ways to bring wild plants into tea, food, and everyday life.

This is a relaxed and welcoming gathering—no experience needed. Come curious.

We’ll explore:

  • beginner-friendly edible and medicinal plants

  • ethical harvesting practices

  • herbal folklore and traditional uses

  • ways to reconnect with the earth and each other

This is a free community event because I want these gatherings to stay accessible to everyone. Donations are encouraged, with a suggested contribution of $5 per person to help support future events and supplies.

REGISTER HERE - Registration is required. Participants will be emailed parking and meetup directions.

Bring:

  • comfortable shoes

  • water

  • a basket or small bag if you’d like to gather plants

  • curiosity and community spirit!

Location: 946 Minnehaha Ave W, St Paul, MN 55104

We will be foraging in Frogtown Farm - an incredible community urban farm with an abundance of native medicinal plants.
