Celebrate the magic of the Winter Solstice with a cozy evening of herbal crafting, seasonal ritual, and intention setting at The People's Apothecary!
As the longest night of the year approaches, we gather to honor the darkness, welcome the returning light, and reflect on the dreams and intentions we wish to nurture in the coming year.
In this enchanting workshop, you'll create two beautiful botanical treasures inspired by the magic of winter and the traditions of the solstice.
Winter Solstice Spell Jar: Create your own magical spell jar using a beautiful assortment of dried herbs, flowers, crystals, and symbolic ingredients. Choose botanicals that represent protection, abundance, renewal, love, or new beginnings, and fill your jar with intentions for the coming year.
Winter Solstice Simmer Pot: Blend a fragrant collection of dried citrus, warming spices, evergreen botanicals, and aromatic herbs to create your own magical simmer pot. Discover the folklore and symbolism of each ingredient as you craft a personalized blend to fill your home with the comforting scents of winter. Take your creation home to simmer gently on the stove as a seasonal ritual for welcoming warmth, abundance, and positive energy into your space.
Throughout the evening, we'll explore the folklore of winter botanicals, the significance of the Winter Solstice, and simple ways to incorporate seasonal rituals and intention setting into everyday life.
We'll close with a guided solstice reflection to honor what we're leaving behind and welcome the possibilities of the returning light.
What You'll Take Home:
A personalized Winter Solstice spell jar
An aromatic simmer pot blend
Inspiration for creating meaningful seasonal rituals at home
All materials and instruction are included, along with complimentary herbal tea to enjoy while you create.
No experience with herbalism or witchcraft is necessary. Just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a little winter magic!
